recently my phone rang and i answered it quickly without taking note of the caller; unaware of the unexpected voice on the other end that brought a flutter to my heart for just a moment. unable to really say much past hello and umms and ahhss, i just listened to the deep voice in my ear as memories came crashing down over me like they were brand new and i was immediately reminded of why it would never work even though, as janet sang, “good intentions you had many, i know you did…”
after that phone call, i was reminded of “again.” i remember when janet came out with “again” and i found myself watching this video on over and over just to see her pretty ponytail, soft crochet pieces and the blue eyed beauty that is her love.
in “again” janet – in her natural hair glory as well (though she may have pieces in) – looks sweet and feminine as she reflects on the memories of a past love. her crochet top and soft neutral makeup make her look warm and inviting and sets the tone for the softness that is evoked by this song. her styling was spot on and reminds me of romantic weekends. never forget the soft pieces in your wardrobe – not everything has to be clingy and fitted as soft pieces like crochet adds an element of romance to your style and is inviting to the eye.
janet’s makeup is just lovely and as soon as i saw her lips i was reminded of one of my favorite brown lipglosses. one day, while shopping in cvs, i saw beyonce on the cover of vouge and i immediately noticed her lip color – it was striking yet doable. there she was standing in this couture gown with this inexpensive, drug store brand lipgloss on and she was killing it. as always, items are listed in magazines so i flip to the back, find the color and guess what was one isle over?! this color is amazing on and in the tube it threw me off but on.the.lips. SO ROMANTIC AND BEAUTIFUL! those lips coupled with a soft eye, bronzed cheeks and realistic falsies?? ladies, try this style idea for a date with the hubby or significant other – he’ll be sure to notice!

You were right about the gloss!!! It even works well, over color, as well as alone.
I also bought the AmLactin. I can’t stop touching myself, my skin is sooooo soft.
