6-in-1 miracle oil

by Angel

when the words miracle and oil come together, the outcome needs to be something spectacular. by default, and when used correctly, oils do work miracles on hair. 6-in-1 Miracle Oil contains argan, coconut, sunflower, apricot, jojoba, and avocado, for six differnt uses. i love argan, olive and jojoba oils along with a slew of others that i keep stocked in my vanity. once i got the hang of how and when to use oils correctly on my hair – wet hair vs. dry hair, one hairstyle versus the next – i gained total control over how my hairstyles looked in the end.

what it is:
a lightweight, hydrating and moisture-sealing six oil blend.

what it does:
6-in-1 Miracle Oil can be used on the hair, scalp, and skin as a hot oil treatment, daily leave-in conditioner, moisturizing scalp oil, braids/locs maintenance, all-day frizz controller and dry skin hydrator.

Isoproyl Myristate, Dicaprylyl Ether, Helianthus Annus Seed oil/Sunflower Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Prunus Armeniaca Kernal Oil/Apricot Kernal Oil, Isopropyl Isosterate, Simmondsia Chinensis Oil/Jojoba Seed Oil, Persa Gratissima Oil/Avocado Oil, Argania Spinosa Oil/Argania Spinosa Kernal Oil, Cocos Nucifera Oil/Coconut Oil, Parfum, Benzyl Salicylate, Henyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Benzyl Alcohol, Limonene, Coumarin, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene, Carboxaldehyde, Geraniol, Citronellol, Isoeugenol

what we think:
an admitted oil junkie, it takes a lot for me to want to buy a mixture of oils because i usually make my own mixes, but this new 6-in-1 Miracle Oil is formulated with argan, coconut, sunflower, apricot, jojoba, and avocado oils and does not cause major wallet damage. that alone has caught my attention as an affordable alternative to my at-home mixes. the oils are not high up on the list but for an $8 frizz fighter with premium ingredients that anyone can easily pick this up at their local red circle boutique or beauty supply, it’s definitely worth trying.

I bought this a few months ago. At first I did not like it. My DYI mixes seemed to work much better for my hair. After using it a few times, I decided to mix it in with my homemade whipped shea butter. I loved the results! The mix lasted for about 4 months. I am going to buy it again and make the whipped shea butter concoction in a few weeks.

Isopropyl Myristate is an alcohol used in beauty products to make absorbtion easier by removing water from the surface. The second ingredient, Dicaprylyl Ether, is a fat that is taken from coconut or palm. I think it’s worth a try, but why do they always spoil a good oil by adding stuff we have to look up or can’t pronounce as the first ingredient?
