i knew these looked familiar but i just could not remember where i’d spotted them. i have so many saved photos of style and shoes that sometimes i forget where stuff is. though it’s organized, it takes time to go through it all, so when it finally clicked into my head where i’d seen these platforms before, i made a dash for the computer.

they were reminiscent of the super sky high charles anastase wooden platforms from the runways of spring 2009.

then jessica simpson decided to do her pair and knock these straight off. i like them a lot. i’m not big on obvious shoe copies, but for a shoe that is way to expensive for most, these jessica simpson shoes come in a a neck and neck close second.
