christmas is a wonderful time for many. once you make your way through tree decorating, egg nog comas and gift wrapping you are left with something magical that lies not in the tangible but all of in the things we cannot see. the sweet smells of candy, marshmallows and holiday cooking that we associate with the holidays, the warm feelings we get when we slip into a comfy sweater to go shopping with our family, the laughs shared over christmas breakfast. all of these things lend to our never ending stream of holiday memories that have the power to take us back to christmas anytime we want with just a close of our eyes and a tilt of our heads towards the heavens as we reminisce on the things that make us remember the holidays so strongly. with only a few days to go, kinky girls are recounting their memories in this month’s aphropic: unforgettable and cherished christmas memories. it’s halloween time and you know what that means. “trick or treat smell my feet!”, costumes and candy comatose for the little ones and you too if your are anything like me and go scavenging in candy bags for left over candy from the kiddos. bring on the sprees and banana laffy taffy. man, can you imagine if real banana tasted anything like banana candy?! people would be growing banana trees in their back yards.
in honor of cheap candy and sketchy hooker costumes (no really, why are all the costumes hooker versions of something? hooka’ nurse, hooka’ school teacher – hooka’ witch) i’m asking you curly bellas on twitter: WHAT’S YOUR GREATEST FEAR?
mine? well since i was laid out from strep a couple weeks ago that would have to be it. getting that again anytime soon. *shudders* talk about pain and the painful antibiotic shots and all the pills. not the bizness. this photo of me was taken the night before it all went downhill and i woke up with a slight scratchy throat that would knock me off of my feet hours later. hmmm, did my server at the melting pot have it and gave it to me through germs left on that martini glass? i’ll never know. *oh and p.s. i’m drinking sour patch kids martini (and wearing this red lipstick). that martini is the thunder!
