so i went to forever xx1 yesterday on a hunt for some sequined leggings.
as soon as i walk in, i see tons of other things i want of course, but did manage to get my paws on these sequined leggings.   

i’m a med in forever xx1 sometimes and other times a large – thus is the price you pay for cheap clothes. anyway, i picked up the med and tried them on.

first off, let me say that these leggings run a size small. i’m a 6 and the med was snug. i do have a donk so that didn’t help either, but they were snugger than usual.

the fit was good, but the look jus was not for me. too much mj “wanna be starting something” going on. and trust ladies, you WILL be starting something with these leggings. either a yeast infection or a 80’s party or a reuinion of the supremes, something is going to be started, okay?

i can’t do the “party in my pants, come hither look.” tight leather pants are sezzie. tight sequined leggings are skankish. 

so either go up a size in this brand or do like i do and do sequins elsewhere – a slinky top, or dress or even skirt. i really don’t think this is gonna work for those with a donk. and unless you are on stage slanging a lace wig like like your life depends on it, leave this trend to the thin mint women out there. you all can rock this, as i watch in a little glittered envy, but i will pass…that is unless a better pair comes along!

do you all own any sequined leggings? if so, how are they working out for you and your backside? :)

i also tried on this purple top (looks blue in the pic) and a silver and black version of this skirt. cute, cute, cute, cute, cute!!!!

if you ladies are anything like me, shopping for jeans can be nightmareish. freddie crugar ain’t got nothing on a three way mirror, florescent lighting and jeans labeled “curvy” but fit more like “stick.”

i was so excited to stumble up on this website. at first i was not sure it was gonna work, so you know i gave it the side eye. 

but let me just share with you guys how awesome this site is. it can basically compute the best jeans for you! and it really works too. and it’s FREEEEEE!!!

i think there is something to be said about this site when it has even been mentioned in O mag.

okay ladies, this is how it breaks down. this site is basically a search engine for clothes. you have to complete a questionnaire of about a dozen question and then Zafu determines your body type and displays matches to the best-fitting jeans to suit you. each pair is modeled from several angles, along with a link to the product page of retailers selling the item. 

and don’t worry about the questionaire. it’s not long at all! i know, i know, who wants to do a questionaire to look for clothes? but the premise behind this website is awesome and the way it works is excellent. and again, the questionnaire is fast!

i live in jeans and heels and since i’m curvy, i also know how difficult it can be to find good fitting jeans. i’m telling  you all, this tool is UNMATCHED! it’s like being in a fitting room without going to a department store.
