competing for “just as good as aveda” comes this almond and shea butter conditioner from suave. for my first of two reviews, i can’t say it’s just as good as right now, but i will have to give the tresses a few more co washes and conditioning treatments with this conditioner to see how it ranks up there with aveda.

like the mimosa hair honey i recently reviewed, i’ve had this carol’s daughter healthy hair butter for a while now.

and like the mimosa hair honey, this went right to the back of my product closet, but after pulling it out almost a year later , i’m just not that impressed. i don’t hate it but i don’t love it either. i consider it a so-so butter.

when i see butter on any product marketed to ethnic hair…well, actually on any product for hair, i get happy and giddy like a kid in a candy store. i think, “thick”, “butter-like” and “paste”, aka – weight but leaves my hair fluffy.

i’ve been meaning to do this review of garnier fructis fortifying deep conditioner 3 minute masque for a while now. i’ve been using this masque for a little over a year and i really like how it works on my hair.

i picked this bar of soap up from the vitamin shoppe in hopes that it would give my hair and scalp a good cleansing. so many naturals rave and rave and rave about castile soap that i thought it was about time that i gave this soap a chance to work with my kinky, coils.

holly smokes folks! holy smokes!! i am in love with a new flat iron. eekkkk!!!

and who would have thought that there would be something that could make me love it more than my beloved and trusty six year old SEDU!

the croc 2 is an iron i need to get into my hands asap, i’m talking as of yesterday!
