Most of us would be lying if we said we wouldn’t moonwalk over our own mothers to buy something that could possibly give us locks as long, healthy and shiny as Cassie’s. Tell Mom I said that it won’t be be necessary (and remove the bejeweled glove.)
According to the rave reviews from almost everywhere, the Carol’s Daughter Monoi Repairing Hair Mask may actually be worth the $30 price tag. Thought it is not exactly “new” as it was introduced early last year, this product makes our product scoop list because we want to know if it’s worth all the buzz.
“Based on independent studies conducted on natural and relaxed hair textures of Latin and African-American participants: 85% experienced an improvement in [click to continue…]
it’s obvious that solange loves her natural hair and the diversity that it offers. she’s not one for boredom and switches it up often going from natural curls to weave curls, poetic style braids and most recently straight and laid. after recently sharing a photo of her straightened hair [SEE IT HERE], solange opened up with fashion photographer and blogger grarance dore about her life in a way that would appeal to all women. she divulges her essentials, those little small things that make solange, solange, from walks to never owning a watch and what she does with that fro.
that fro. that fro that’s with her on the pages of vogue, in dj booths and vacationing on a beach somewhere with her son and new significant other. that fro that we all love.
if you’ve been wondering what solange does to take care of and pamper her natural hair, then look no further because the cat’s out of the bag, or should i say the fro has been exposed.
carol’s daughter is keeping up not only with just curls but with the natural hair scene by creating a new site…a new “movement to natural” with their new transitioning movement website.
i think their new website is a great step in helping women transition to natural and also a great way to sell their products on a larger scale – we can’t forget the big business aspect here. i plan to make sure i bookmark the site and keep up with what’s going on over on the new sister site to natural hair care.
so all the gossip down on “can’t get my edges to lay down without looking like a greasy fool” alley is that this carol’s daughter macadamia hold & control smoother is where it’s at. people are selling their mama’s t.v. sets to get their hands on this stuff.
while lamenting online in a chat with a good friend of mine, i was asked if i was going to wear my hair in a bun for the holidays. my answer was a resounding, “no!” reason being is i want my edges to lay flat and i’ll be darned if i’m going to do it with any product that is [click to continue…]
“it’s a very wonderful experience when you’re blowing our your hair to have this chocolate floral thing going on. usually you just smell hair when you blow out your hair, but with this you have a really great sensory experience in the shower and out of the shower.”
carol’s daughter is keeping the ball rolling with their product launches. next up, a tantalizing chocolät collection that reminds you of homemade coco, their chocolät smoothing collection vows to “build impossibly smooth hair that lasts and lasts.” scratch and sniff chocolate blow out hair? where has this been all our lives?!
after much dismay with carol’s daughter products, i have found something that’s brought me a bit closer to the brand. i have to say, my kinky, coarse and fine hair is a bit finnikey and hair products that work for many get the boot from my hair. though i love the mimosa hair honey from carol’s daughter (LOVE that stuff), many of the other products from this line are a no-go for my hair, except their newly introduced hair milk. for the first time ever, a carol’s daughter hair product has been able to define my coils and leave my hair butter soft. i’m gonna say it – i really like this carol’s daughter hair milk the original curl definer!
i’ve been looking forward to the new lines/collections coming out of the house of carol’s daughter. to be honest, in the past, i never had much luck with carol’s daughter less the mimosa hair honey – which love! and now their new hair milk line – i’m really loving this stuff too (a review is [...]
carol’s daughter recently announced their new brand ambassadors, selita eubanks, solange knowles & cassie, in keeping with their new drive to make their brand all inclusive. steve stout, chairman of the brand had this to say about the decision: “What we’re doing now is moving into a polyethnic space. We want to be the first [...]
