dark burgandy, purple and black nail polish are in now.

black was all the rage last year and it’s back again. or not really back, but more like, in full force, because it really never went anywhere. perhaps because it’s fall and the dark colors evoke a feeling of warmth…hmmm, not sure, but what i do know is that this color looks ab-fab on most anyone and if you have not tried this trend yet, you really need to.

fingernails painted a dark color look so good with dresses and jeans and have an air of haute couture. but you must have nice, neat nails. chipped dark polish screams, i was up last night partying too much with my friends. really chipped black nail polish screams…lilo…and really, when has lindsay been cool lately? 

my fav black nail polish only costs me $1 and it’s by wet & wild.

i like russian navy by opi for a dark purple/blue-black, and am looking for a staple holiday burgandy.

if you know of any pretty dark red colors i can sport, please be sure to let me know.

we are all studded up!!

if you have not noticed, studded handbags are everywhere.

usually, i tend to let some trends flow in out of my life like water through my hands, but this is one trend that appeals to my edgy, dark fingernail wearing side.

a great way to wear this tread is with skinny jeans and a leather jacket. or with a mini and a studded clutch. if you are going to sport a sutdded bag, please don’t also wear heavy earrings and studded boots and/or a studded jacket. a nice studded bracelet or some high polished silver studs would look good with a studded bag.

just remember, statement pieces must always be balanced out.

i am looking forward to seeing this film. i thought i’d wait until it came to dvd but i changed my mind and decided i’d go all out and get dressed up and go to see this with friends and then top the evening off at my of-the-moment fav resturant – katsuya.

i hope seeing this movie does not cause an itch for me to go shopping at the chanel boutique.
