SPLIT ENDS

I just recently did my BC (fade cut) this past summer (late June 2010). My hair is currently a twa, kind of, kind of not- probably longer than a twa (teenie weenie afro). But my ends are brittle, dry & rough and lately I’ve been trying to keep it styled to prevent anymore damaged. Unfortunately, I know this occurred b/c I was sleeping without a satin bonnet/pillow case/ or “do-rag” for awhile, so my question to is: what can products can I use to treat this issue. My hair type is 4a/4b.
